Customer Setup - Route field descriptions
- Color
- When Direct Route was implemented, you selected the color of the symbols to use on the delivery route maps. Specify the number associated with the default color of the symbol that identifies this equipment. The numeric codes that are associated with default colors are in the Direct Route documentation.
- Delivery Start Time
- The time that your delivery schedule begins. Use military format. This value is used to calculate estimated delivery times.
- End Time
- The time that your delivery schedule is to finish. Use military format. This value is used to calculate estimated delivery times. The end time must be greater than the start time.
- Equipment Code
- This value was defined during Direct Route implementation. It is a string of comma-separated values that guides activity in the Direct Route software. After the codes are defined, keep a list of the codes for reference. The codes are not validated.
- Fixed Location
- Select this option to identify this record to be at a fixed position. If this option is not selected, the location of this entity is recalculated on each transaction.
- Fixed Time
- The approximate time to unload at the customer’s site. If you leave the Unload Rate field blank, this value is used to calculate the estimated delivery times for the day.
- Latitude
- This value is calculated by Direct Route, based on the address. We recommend that you do not override this value. If you do override the value, the value must be between 90 and –90. The value is validated by Direct Route.
- Longitude
- This value is calculated by Direct Route, based on the address. We recommend that you do not override this value. If you do override the value, the value must be between 180 and –180. The value is validated by Direct Route.
- Size
- When Direct Route was implemented, you selected the size of the symbols to use on the delivery route maps. Specify the number associated with the default size of the symbols that identifies this equipment.
- Symbol
- When Direct Route was implemented, you defined the symbols to use on the delivery route maps. Specify the number associated with the default symbol that identifies this equipment. The numeric codes that are associated with default symbols are in the Direct Route documentation.
- Unload Rate
- The cube or weight that you can unload at a customer’s site. This value is used to calculate the estimated delivery times for the day. If you leave this field blank, the value in the Fixed Time field is used in the calculation.
