Adding a Tag and Hold disposition to an order
If a customer cannot provide shipping instructions when they place an order, you can assign a Tag and Hold disposition to the order. This disposition indicates that you should hold the order until the customer can provide shipping instructions. Use these instructions to add a Tag and Hold disposition to a sales order.
- Select .
- Complete the fields in the Initiate page, and then click .
- In the Customer Order Settings page, select Tag and Hold in the Disposition field.
- In the Ship Via field, specify the shipping method.
- In the Cancelled Date field, specify a date to automatically cancel the order and then click .
- In the Discount section on the Taxes & Totals page, specify a staging area for the order.
- Complete the order.
