Setting up an operator to clear their own session

Use these instructions to enable operators to clear their own sessions. When operators can clear their own sessions, Operator in Use - Clear Operator's Session? is displayed when they attempt to sign in and a session is already running. The operator can clear the session. The operator is signed out and must sign in again.

Note: This functionality is part of an approval process that helps to meet some of the requirements of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
  1. Select System Administrator > Setup > Operator.
  2. Select an operator record, and then click Edit.
  3. Click Other Options.
  4. In the Administrative Setting section, select Yes in the Allow Clear User at Login field.
  5. Click Save.
